Company profileBeijing Earth Observation Inc. (BEO) is a high-tech enterprise under Beijing East-Dawn Information Technology Inc. Based on multiple remote sensing satellite platforms. BEO is specialized in providing Remote Sensing data distribution service as well as value-added products and solutions in domestic market. By now BEO has been participated in several large projects, which are national level, provincial level and emergency disaster relief programs, and showed excellent performances.
BEO are the Exclusive master reseller of three satellite products in China:
● 2.5-meters resolution IRS-P5 satellite imagery
Cartosat-1(IRS-P5) is a state-of-the-art remote sensing satellite built by ISRO. BEO has established local station to receive IRS-P5 data directly.
● 1-meter resolution IKONOS satellite imagery
IKONOS provides us with high-resolution imagery at 1- and 4-meter resolution. Its successor GeoEye-1 will be launched in 2008. Then the data resolution will enhanced to 0.41m (panchromatic) and 1.65m (multispectral).
● 1-meter resolution COSMO-SkyMed SAR satallite imagery
The system consists of a constellation of four, each equipped with a multi-mode high-resolution SAR. It is characterized by full global coverage, all weather, day/night acquisition capability, higher resolution, and interferometric/polarimetric capabilities.
